The Wyoming Cancer Program (WCP) partners with Wyoming providers to reimburse for breast cancer screenings that are performed for underserved people across the state. Program nurses provide patient navigation and address barriers such as transportation and translation. The nurses follow each PNO patient from their initial call, all the way through to their cancer screening. The WCP also provides education, conducts outreach events, offers provider technical support, and partners with multiple organizations to provide breast cancer screenings throughout Wyoming.
Mission: To reduce the burden of cancer through evidence-based screening and prevention strategies, including education, support, collaboration, and resource sharing in Wyoming.
Vision: To shape a healthier Wyoming in order to eliminate the burden of cancer.
Donations are always appreciated, but there are lots of great ways to get involved.
