February 24, 2025 – National Breast Cancer Foundation has been named the 2024 Corporate Community Champion by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce
The Frisco Chamber of Commerce honored outstanding businesses, organizations, and citizens at its Annual Awards Celebration on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa in Frisco. The event was attended by over 700 of Frisco’s most influential business and community leaders.
Applications were reviewed and judged by a cross-section of Frisco business professionals that comprised the review committee. In addition to the business awards, the Frisco Chamber President and Chair of the Board each recognized individuals who have made a significant difference to the Frisco Chamber of Commerce during the past year.
The Corporate Community Champion Award is given to a company that goes beyond business as usual, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to community involvement and making a meaningful impact to others when needed most. NBCF was selected for this honor for their commitment to community volunteers and Frisco-based corporations, grants to Frisco-based hospitals, and education via their Navigating Breast Cancer in the Workplace training. NBCF also employs Frisco ISD interns annually and mentors Frisco High School ambassadors throughout the school year. Finally, NBCF is proud to host local support groups for women impacted by breast cancer, allowing hope when they need it most.
Three Frisco citizens were also recognized for their commitment to and enhancement of the community – Citizen of the Year, Legacy Award, and Spirit of Frisco. NBCF Director of Communications and National Spokesperson Ashley Miller was named the 2024 Spirit of Frisco Award winner.
