The mission of the Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ACC) is to facilitate and provide partnerships to reduce the human suffering and economic burden from cancer for the citizens of Arkansas. Through our partnerships with the breast health programs at both Jefferson Regional Medical Center and CARTI Cancer Center, ACC will provide much needed breast cancer screening and diagnostic services to low-income, uninsured, or underinsured women in some of the most desperate areas of the state. With dedicated funding and collaborative efforts, we can ensure that women in our state have access to high-quality screening services, regardless of their geographical location or financial status. By addressing the critical need for breast cancer screening assistance in Arkansas, ACC aims to improve early detection rates, reduce disparities in breast cancer outcomes, and ultimately save lives.
“The Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ACC) is privileged to collaborate with esteemed partners like Jefferson Regional Medical Center and CARTI Cancer Center. Both organizations push ACC’s mission forward by delivering exceptional breast cancer screening and treatment services centered around the patient’s experience. We are excited about the opportunity to eliminate the financial barrier that exists for their most vulnerable patients.” – Trena Mitchell, Executive Director, Arkansas Cancer Coalition
