Asian Breast Health Outreach Project (ABHOP) is a multi-lingual breast cancer screening outreach program at Methodist Richardson Medical Center that empowers the underserved communities to do their routine mammograms by providing navigation, education, and access to breast cancer detection.
“The ABHOP initiative at Methodist Richardson is effective because it educates our diverse and underserved community with sensitivity and sincerity. This approach is labor intensive but its impact goes to generations beyond the patients being served today. A very worthy initiative to be sure!” — Lori Villarreal, Executive Director of MRMCF
Donations are always appreciated, but there are lots of great ways to get involved.
