Southfield, MI October 8, 2021 – Karmela Cosmetics is proud to partner with National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) in Helping Women Now®. In addition to their continued give-back promotion, where proceeds are donated from the Karmela Pink Collection, Karmela Cosmetics has also decided to donate special breast cancer lipstick gift sets to breast cancer patients and survivors.

Karmela’s founder and CEO, Nechami Tenenbaum, had this to say about the partnership. “It’s amazing how putting on lipstick gives women an instant confidence boost and a feeling of empowerment, especially throughout life’s struggles and difficult times. As a brand which focuses on giving back to women’s healing and empowerment, I am honored to have a part in helping our fellow breast cancer warriors feel confident and beautiful with our lipsticks, especially during their fight against breast cancer.”

Karmela was able to provide this gift-in-kind by partnering with Calmed Medical Supplies, who stepped up to provide monetary support to Karmela Cosmetics so the large shipment of gift sets could be made. Mark Oseroff, President of Calmed, said that it was a no-brainer for them to support Karmela Cosmetics in this initiative. “Empowering those who are constantly giving to, and doing so much for others, and taking care of their families and those around them is part of our mission here at Calmed. Helping these special women regain their confidence and return to a state of wellness through our partnership with Karmela, and in turn, National Breast Cancer Foundation, was a perfect way to honor that mission.”

The donated gift boxes will be given to recipients of NBCF’s HOPE Kits. On top of the other essential items in the kits, items like these lipsticks are critical to show the HOPE Kit recipients how loved and supported they truly are and how beautiful they are. “We are so grateful to receive this generous donation from Karmela Cosmetics,” said NBCF Director of Support Services, Lauren Dooley. “We receive feedback from breast cancer patients mentioning that they love to try new cosmetic items because it helps them feel like themselves again after the many changes that come during breast cancer treatment. We are incredibly grateful to Karmela Cosmetics & CalMed Medical for this donation and for bringing hope and encouragement to breast cancer patients across the country.”
