In just 3 months, they raised $5,000 for NBCF by selling coffee (whole bean and K-cups) and merchandise (hats, t-shirts, and tanks). Muertos announced today that they have pledged to donate $15,000 by selling coffee (whole bean and k-cups) and merchandise (t-shirts and mugs) in 2021.They hope that by supporting National Breast Cancer Foundation, it will help secure funds needed to continue the important efforts behind their programs and services including prevention and early detection.
Eli Held, 13-year Firefighter Paramedic and Founder of Muertos Coffee Co. states, “One of the reasons we chose National Breast Cancer Foundation is because of their focus on education, early detection and support services. With the sharp decline in mammograms creating a national crisis, we felt that it was now more important than ever. We have all had friends, sisters, wives, or co-workers that have been diagnosed and we want to do our part. We created Muertos Coffee Co. so that we could make a difference and we hope that this partnership can help raise awareness, as well as help fund this important cause.”
