FRISCO, TX – September 2, 2021 – Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney has awarded National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) an official proclamation declaring June 23rd as “National Breast Cancer Foundation Day – A Day to Give Hope.” This prestigious proclamation was awarded to NBCF Founder and CEO, Janelle Hail, alongside NBCF President and COO, Kevin Hail, at the grand opening of the new NBCF World Headquarters.
“As NBCF steps into its 30th year, we are honored to receive this proclamation that declares June 23rd as a Day to Give Hope. When my late husband, Neal Hail, and I founded NBCF, we never wanted any woman left behind without a pathway and assistance to good health through early detection services. Today I am a healthy survivor of breast cancer for 41 years. I speak for the women we serve saying, ‘Thank you, Mayor Cheney, and the City of Frisco, for your generous support.’” – Janelle Hail
This proclamation serves as an annual call to action from Mayor Cheney as he urges the citizens of Frisco to join together alongside NBCF every June 23rd in their mission to provide help and inspire hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.
